This denim jacket showcases a fully constructed body with detachable sleeves and a buckled vest. The sleeves feature patches that resemble medieval armor pieces, secured with snaps for easy removal. Buckles fasten both the belt collar at the neck and the vest to the main body. Cording details decorate the underbody of the jacket, while topstitching embellishes the sleeves and armor patches. Made from 100% cotton denim, this piece serves as a prototype for a leather jacket currently in development. As shown in the images below, the jacket is paired with matching jeans that I created, which are featured in my "Entomode" illustration collection. The leather progress is pictured as well.

OCTOBER 2024
This leather shirt draws inspiration from vintage fencing uniforms, crafted from recycled leather scraps, including sun-beached cowhide, faux-ostrich cowhide, and goatskin. It features topstitched French seams and is unlined for a clean, raw finish. The design incorporates unique hardware details, such as buckled sleeves, a snap closure, and a kiss-lock coin purse pocket.

FALL 2024
These vintage-inspired corsets are crafted from hand-dyed coutil, lined with patterned 100% cotton shirting, and boned with spiral steel bones. The beige corset, influenced by 18th-century stays, features adjustable tie straps and slashed "finger" details, all finished with bias strips.
The orange corset, which draws inspiration from the 19th century, is strapless and includes a vintage brass busk. Cording and hand stitching decorate the corset panels, with additional bias strip finishing on the hems.

FEBRUARY 2024
This high-tech fabric vest, inspired by outdoor hiking gear, features a detachable hood and an integrated backpack. The backpack is seamlessly incorporated into the vest, with its own separate lining. Buckles serve both functional and decorative purposes, drawing inspiration from hiking accessories. When the hood is removed via a hidden zipper, a stand collar remains. The concealed front zipper and zippered welt pockets give the vest a sleek, minimalist appearance.

NOVEMBER 2023
My first knit sweater, designed to mimic two pigtails running from the ones head down their back, was created using an industrial Brother 5GG knitting machine. A knit braiding technique was used to embellish the hood with pigtail braids that ended in hand-tied yarn pieces resembling a bow holding the remaining hairs. A mixed blend of cotton, wool, and polyester yarns was used to form an uneven stripe pattern across the knit panels, which were then carefully cut and serged to craft this playful and unique garment.

OCTOBER 2023
These projects were draped and sewn by me as part of my "Stretch Fundamentals" class. The first piece, a bodysuit, draws inspiration from the bold lines and futuristic aesthetic of 1960s Courrèges, the iconic "Barbarella" style, and Space Age fashion. I aimed to capture the dynamic and sleek qualities of these influences, creating a garment that feels both retro and forward-thinking.
The second piece, a full catsuit, was inspired by the intricate structure of corset paneling. I incorporated a faux lace-up design to echo the corset's traditional elements while giving it a modern twist. This design was intended to be both sculptural and visually striking, playing with the concept of shape and form.
Included in this presentation are images of my creative process, from initial draping and patternmaking to the final garment. Projects are accompanied by sketches that further illustrate the development of these pieces.
